Not sure if you’ve heard of the Men At Work scandal but apparently a judge ruled their giant hit “Land Down Under” as a rip-off of a traditional Australian folk-song.  They now owe royalties dating back to when the single was first released.  How much bullshit is that?  Chris Walla (guitarist for Death Cab) weighs in…

Defriending Cancer Benefit Show in Seattle

If you’re in Seattle on February 11th, you should definitely check this out.  It’s basically a fundraiser for cancer but also get to see some comedians and musicians too.  This sounds awesome the more I think about it.  James Mercer from the Shins AND Isaac Brock from Modest Mouse?  So amazing.  You can get tickets here. (It’s sorta pricy but remember that it is a fundraiser.)
